The details - doors, windows, arches, mouldings - form a significant part of the decoration or jewellery of a building, and contribute to both the appearance and feeling. As structures and fashions change over the years, these features can help to date the building. This booklet explains some of this "jewellery" and has examples from buildings in Kamloops, B.C. This was a collaborative project between Kamloops Museum and the Small Cities Community-University Research Alliances.
