Optimisation of element skewness in finite element solution of 3D Navier-Stokes equations near a confluence of two rivers with real bathymetry: Code rationale and functionality
Optimisation of element skewness in finite element solution of 3D Navier-Stokes equations near a confluence of two rivers with real bathymetry: Code rationale and functionality
Navier-Stokes equations are rarely solved to simulate river flow in a real geographic location. This study attempts to build a computational mesh and minimise element skewness for the terrain near the confluence of Columbia and Kootenay Rivers in British Columbia, Canada. The report will become viewable upon an acceptance of a peer-reviewed publication.
