This is a collection of thirty-six Shuswap Indian stories related by several elderly storytellers. All of these stories were originally tape-recorded in the Shuswap language, under the auspices of British Columbia Indian Language Project, and were then translated into English. Isaac Willard, Aimee August, Charley Draney and Nellie Thomas are the names of the storytellers |
